The jumping foals were well received by the customers of the Westphalian Studbook this evening. The price structure was led by a colt with the head number 2. Heartbeat, who was bred by Bernd Kröger, Dinklage, from an embryo transfer mating, was worth 9,250 euro to his new owners. The son of Heartbreaker/Toulon descents from the direct family of Contino, who was successful with Johannes Ehning.

The most popular filly of the evening was also the best-paid dressage foal. theVilomena bore the head number 7. The daughter of the Vice WorldChampion of young dressage horses Vitalos was bred by Ramona Wojtenko, Nordhorn, out of the Verb.Pr.St. Filomena by Follow Him's Schönweide. After 17 bids from nine bidders, the liver chestnut filly changed hands for 8,000 euro. Another dressage oriented foal also received a hammer price of 8,000 euro. The son of the successful young Warendorf state stud stallion Diamantenglanz changed hands to Belgian ownership. Jessica Meier Overesch, Harsewinkel, had bred the dark bay colt out of the Ver.Pr.St. Emsperle M.O. by Ehrenstolz, who was successful in dressage competitions up to medium level.

At 16,500 euros, head number 1 was unable to realise the breeder's target price this evening. For this reason, the top price of the auction did not change hands today. "After a highly successful foal auction last week, we have of course been brought back down to earth a little today. Nevertheless, we remain true to our line and would like to continue to offer many breeders access to the various platforms of our sales and auctions," says auction manager Thomas Münch.

Overall, the Westphalian Studbook was able to generate a total turnover of 128,500 euros with the 22 foals sold. On average, the foals sold were worth 5,841 euro to their new owners. Nine young talents were sold to customers outside Germany.
